Could you tell us a bit about how your ways meet until joining "The Young Professionals"?
Johnny called me 4 years ago introduced himself and told me we should work together. I asked him to send me some music, he did, I thought it was really really good and went to the studio right away to start writing stuff with it... since then we never stopped. After a year of writing we decided to create the band as a group of artists from different field who’ll work together on the idea of “The Young Professionals”.

How would you describe your style for those who do not know you?
We think that maybe electronic pop can be a description for what we do. Some of it is more up tempo and clubby and some can be more chilled out. We like a lot of different sounds so what we can do sometimes include different styles...

Your debut album is called "9am to 5pm, 5pm to whenever" and every song is dedicated to a time of day. What is your perfect hour/time and what song would u choose for it?
We like working in the morning, starting around 10/11am and a perfect song for that can be “Wake up” or “With me” and we like going out in the evenings so we’ll go for something more like “20 seconds” or “Be with you tonight”

You have reissued your album, with some new tracks and removing some of the early ones, how was that selection process?
When we signed with Universal we started talking on the release of the album in France, since the release in Israel we wrote some more stuff and we really wanted those songs on the album... so together with the Universal guys we decided to re edit the album so it’ll feel new to us and fit the french scene more.

For the video clips, you worked with Uriel Yekutiel, a great dancer and choreographer, will it be a constant collaboration in your work? What is the best thing to work with him?
We love working with Uriel, we also collaborate with him on some of our shows and it’s always a pleasure. He’s a unique performer and we feel he gives us something fresh interesting and energetic. We always like to say that the image of Uriel is like “the back of our minds”.

Your compatriot Eliad Cohen has worked in turn with Uriel, have you ever thought about a special guest in your clips?
Many of our fans would love it... we actually didn’t...

Now Johny´s 21 years old and Ivri, 38. What can you provide to each other from the perspective of age?
We don’t feel our age difference a lot when we work cause music is probably something that eliminates that, sometimes the fact that I {Ivri} have more experience with some of the things we’re going thru is a plus cause you can be more relaxed about it, but also the freshness and excitement of a 1st time is something really cool...

Ivri, we know you are a gay activist in Israel, how would you describe the current situation there? What are those rights still claimed in your country?
